SCNC BBQ & Community Raffle – Good Food, Great Community!

Join us on Saturday 15th August for a full day of netball, great food, and community spirit at the SCNC BBQ.

You'll find us at the SDNA courts, just around the corner from the canteen and opposite Court 2.

Whether you're grabbing a sausage sizzle between games, picking up a sweet treat, or catching the Community Raffle draw, we'd love to see you there.

Every purchase helps raise valuable funds to support Swan Christian Netball Club and the opportunities we provide for our players throughout the season.

A big thank you to our SCNC community for an amazing season so far! We are now on a break and will be taking a well deserved 2 weeks off netball. See you all back on the courts on July 25!

Our Fundraising Coordinator, Caitlin, has launched our SCNC Community Raffle, and we’re excited to get the club behind it!

💰 $25 per ticket
🏆 Over $4,000 in prizes

Prizes include:
🥇 $2,500 Cash Prize
🥈 $500 Cash Prize
🥉 $250 BMG Autos Servicing Voucher
🍫 Margaret River Chocolate Hamper
🏐 2 x Signed West Coast Fever Netballs

Each Year 2–Year 7 player will be allocated 2 tickets to sell, with all proceeds going directly back into SCNC to support equipment, development programs, player resources, and end-of-season Awards and Wind-Up celebrations.

Our goal: sell all 300 tickets!

Players who sell their allocated tickets can request more, and Year 8+ players or anyone wishing to purchase tickets can contact Caitlin directly. Ticket numbers must be used as reference for payment.

There is an official Weather Alert Status System created by Swan Districts Netball Association.

To improve communication around wet weather decisions, we will now use a simple three-status system posted on Facebook:

🟢 Games Proceeding
Games are going ahead as scheduled and conditions are considered safe for play.

🟠 Weather Being Monitored
Conditions are being closely monitored and may change. Please check Facebook before leaving home for updates.

🔴 Competition Cancelled
Games are cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions. Please do not attend the venue.

This system aligns with the SDNA Weather Alert Policy and is designed to make updates clear and easy to understand at a glance.

As weather can change quickly, please check social media or Heja before travelling for the latest official update.
