Become a Team Manager

Team Managers play a key role in keeping everything connected and running smoothly at SCNC.

Supporting players, coaches and families, you help create a positive and organised environment where teams can thrive.

Why Managing Matters

Team Managers create structure and clarity for both coaches and families.

By keeping things organised and communication clear, team managers allow players to focus on enjoying their netball, building confidence and developing their skills each week.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the main point of contact between the club, coach, players and parents
  • Coordinate weekly game day logistics, including scoring, timing, uniforms and bibs
  • Share important updates via Heja or club-approved platforms
  • Assist with attendance, injuries and general team coordination
  • Support club values and promote positive behaviour on and off the court

What You Need

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with coaches and families
  • Availability for games and key club activities
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Commitment to club values, policies and positive sportsmanship

You don’t need netball experience, just a willingness to support young people and be part of a team.

Team Managing at SCNC

We welcome parents and community members to step into the Team Manager role and be part of our club community.

Working closely with your coach, you’ll help create a positive, organised and supportive environment for your team. It’s a great way to get involved, meet other families and play an important role in your team’s season.

We aim to make the Team Manager role as straightforward and manageable as possible, with a clear weekly structure and expectations. With a consistent game day commitment and simple communication responsibilities, you’ll be well supported to stay organised throughout the season.

Team Managers attend weekly games and assist with communication and coordination across the season. The role follows a consistent weekly rhythm, making it easy to plan ahead and stay connected with your team.

Support & Resources

We’re here to make sure you feel confident and supported throughout the season.
