SET Competition
Ages 7-8 Years
Whether they’re a returning NetSetGo’er or just picking up the ball for the first time, this tier will see children build on their movement skills while being introduced to exciting netball techniques and strategies.
This stage features a mix of activities, fun games, as well as modified Woolworths NetSetGo matches to help kids build confidence. The rules and equipment are adjusted to fit their age, with a focus on skill development rather than competition.
Kids will have the opportunity to try out different positions on the court and enjoy equal game time, all in a non-competitive environment where the fun never stops!

GO Competition

The Go phase is where the game really comes to life. Whether players are returning NetSetGo’ers or stepping up for the very first time, this is their chance to bring all their growing skills together in a way that feels more like “real” netball - but with the same focus on fun, friends, and having a go.
In the Woolworths NetSetGo Go phase, kids play a mix of activities, team challenges, and modified netball games designed especially for their age group. The emphasis is still on building skills and game sense rather than winning - giving every child the chance to try different positions, share equal court time, and feel the excitement of being part of a team.
Rules and equipment are adjusted to keep the game safe, simple, and inclusive. This way, budding netballers can grow their confidence, explore new roles on the court, and enjoy all the energy, connection, and joy that netball brings.

Where SCNC train
All teams train at Swan Christian College, where we are fortunate to have access to multiple spaces across the campus for training.
Training days and times are organised by each team’s coach prior to the start of the season. Coaches ensure sessions work well for players and create a positive, supportive environment for everyone to learn and grow.
Where SCNC play
All competition games are played at Dulcie Ludlow Netball Centre in partnership with Swan Districts Netball Association. The courts are located on Gray Drive in Middle Swan.
