As Swan Christian Netball Club moves towards becoming an independent incorporated club, our community helped choose a new logo to represent this exciting next chapter.

In preparation for the 2026 season, members were invited to vote on the direction of our new club logo. Two design options were presented, and the response from our community was fantastic. With a clear majority of votes, the Swan design was chosen by our members, becoming the new symbol of our club moving forward.

While the voting period was shorter than we would have ideally liked due to supplier deadlines and end-of-year production schedules, we were incredibly grateful for how quickly our community stepped in to share their thoughts. The strong support for the Swan logo reflects the identity of our club and the place we call home.

This logo now represents Swan Christian Netball Club as we move into an exciting new chapter. It will proudly appear on our uniforms, apparel and club materials as we continue building a welcoming, supportive and competitive netball community for our players and families.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the voting process and helped shape the future of SCNC. Exciting times are ahead.

A New Look for SCNC

Swan Christian Netball Club is proud to support the KidSport program, which helps eligible Western Australian children aged 5–18 participate in community sport by providing financial assistance towards club fees.

Families who are eligible for KidSport are encouraged to apply through the KidSport program before registering their child with the club. Once approved, applicants will receive a KidSport voucher code that can be used during the PlayHQ registration process.

For the current voucher period (1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026), eligible families may receive up to $300 to support their child’s participation in sport. This funding helps ensure more young people can stay active, connected and involved in community sport.

KidSport funding is paid directly to approved clubs participating in the program. Families simply need to enter their voucher code when registering through PlayHQ so the funding can be applied to their child’s registration.

Our grading sessions have now wrapped up, and we want to thank all players who attended and gave their best effort on the court. It was fantastic to see so much energy, teamwork and enthusiasm from our Year 6–9 players during the sessions held at Swan Christian College.

Throughout grading, players had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills during match play, trial their preferred positions and show how they work as part of a team. These sessions allow our Grading Panel to carefully assess players and help form balanced teams that support both development and enjoyment of the game.

Our committee is now working behind the scenes to finalise team selections. This process takes time as we review grading observations, previous coach feedback and team balance to ensure every player is placed in an environment where they can grow and thrive throughout the season.

Team announcements will be shared shortly via email once coaches have been confirmed. We appreciate everyone’s patience while this process is completed and can’t wait to see our teams come together for the upcoming season.
